The Pension Board of Trustees/Employee Retirement Board meets as needed during the day and adjourns no later than 6:00 p.m.
The Board has the powers and duties as designated in the Prairie Village, Kansas Police Department Revised Retirement Plan.
The Pension Board of Trustees/Employee Retirement Board consists of three voting members. One member is a council member who is appointed by the Mayor, without the consent of the City Council. One member is appointed by the Mayor, with the consent of the City Council. One voting member is designated by the Police Department employees, with a term of service until the appointment of successor.
