The City of Prairie Village publishes notices for public hearings before the Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals and City Council as well as notices for bid and quarterly financial statements in the Johnson County Legal Record.

Public Hearings

Public Hearings before the Planning Commission and BZA are published 20 days prior to the hearing as required by state statute.  Public Hearings before the Governing Body are generally published a minimum of 10 days prior to the hearing date. 

Notices to Bid 

The City publishes Notices to Bid on Capital Improvement Projects and other City services.  These are generally published 14 to 30 days prior to the opening of the bid.  Bids are also mailed to those firms that have requested to be placed on the City's bid list for the service being bid.  Click here to view available bids.  Individuals wanting to receive notice of any bids can subscribe.
