The Insurance Committee meets as needed during the day and adjourns no later than 6:00 p.m.
The Insurance Committee monitors and discusses insurance issues relating to the City and recommends insurance bid awards, when applicable. The Insurance Committee consists of a voting Chair and Vice-Chair, each a City Council Member appointed by the Mayor without the consent of the City Council. The Mayor, with the consent of the City Council, appoints three other voting members who have an insurance background.
