Each year, the Prairie Village Foundation hosts the annual Gingerbread House Decorating Party to raise money for summer recreation scholarships for qualified Prairie Village families. This year, the event will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. December 4 at Briarwood Elementary School. Due to space constraints, there is a limit of four people per gingerbread house. The cost is $45 per house, and to-go houses are available.
