The city hired an engineering firm to study the area of 68th Street and Mission Road after recent flooding of the roadway and adjacent properties. This study will evaluate solutions to the roadway and property flooding. The study also evaluates the opportunity to receive stormwater funding from Johnson County’s stormwater management program. 

A public meeting will be held October 9th in the Multi-purpose room at City Hall. The meeting is an opportunity to share the  solutions and receive feedback from residents. Please come anytime between 4:30 & 6:30 pm as there will not a formal presentation. City staff and the engineers will be available to discuss the project
