You’re invited to the 38th annual Mayor’s Holiday Tree Lighting on November 30 at Corinth Square. Festivities will kick off at 6 p.m. and include Dancerz Unlimited, Belinder School Choir, KC Wolf and the SME Drum Line. Mayor Mikkelson and Santa will flip the switch to light the tree.

The Tree Lighting is the major fundraiser for the Prairie Village Foundation. The Prairie Village Foundation is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization. Since 1983 the Foundation has been assisting residents in need and supporting essential organizations throughout our community.  

The Foundation helps residents in many ways, including utility and rental assistance, food programs, personal well-being and other vital needs. We proudly support Prairie Village parks, local arts, youth recreational scholarships, and local events like Shop with a Cop and Back to School with a Firefighter.

Your gift to the Prairie Village Foundation is more than a donation; it  makes  a difference to Prairie Village residents who find themselves in need of assistance and keeps Prairie Village a special place to live and work.
