Animal Control Information

Prairie Village's Community Service Officers enforce our city ordinances regarding animals. Officers work seven days a week responding to citizen requests and patrolling the city to identify stray animals or animals violating the city's leash law.

Community Service Officers Roger Blanchard and Nichole Proulx respond to numerous citizen requests and are eager to help. You can reach Animal Control voice mail at 913-385-4631.

Lost Animals

When a Community Service Officer finds an animal, an attempt is made to return the animal to its owner. If an owner cannot be contacted, the animal is taken to the Animal Medical Center located at 75th & Wornall, 816-333-9000, in Kansas City, Missouri.
