Swim lessons for non-swim team participants are provided at the Prairie Village Pool by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District (JCPRD.)

Swim Lessons & Programs

 

Registration for lessons & programs will be taken through Johnson County Park and Recreation District (JCPRD) 6501 Antioch (Merriam), Monday – Friday, from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.  You may also register by phone at 913-831-3359 between 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.  For more information about JCPRD programs, visit their website at www.jcprd.comYou do not need to be a member of the Prairie Village Pool to take swimming lessons through Johnson County Park and Recreation.

 

Johnson County Park and Recreation offers a variety of classes from 6 months to adult.  Please contact JCPRD for specific class offerings, times and prerequisites if any.  The JCPRD Swim Program will conduct out of water safety and deck training for days of inclement weather or insufficient staff.

 

Morning lessons are offered Monday through Thursday.  They are held between 9 am – 12 pm, with the evening lessons offered between 5 - 6:45 pm session dates (all 4 day sessions).

$39 – Johnson County Residents for 4 30-minute lessons

$43 – Non-Johnson County Residents for 4 30-minute lessons

$75 – Johnson County Residents for 4 30-minute private lessons

$80 – Non-Johnson County Residents for 4 30-minute private lessons

$44 – Johnson County Residents for 4 30-minute semi-private lessons

$49 – Non-Johnson County Residents for 4 30-minute semi-private lessons

$45 – Johnson County Residents for 2 30-minute private lessons

$50 – Non-Johnson County Residents for 2 30-minute private lessons

$27 -  Johnson County Residents for 2 30-minute semi-private lessons

$32 – Non-Johnson County Residents for 2 30-minute semi-private lessons
