At their June 16th meeting, the City Council approved Ordinance 2168 relating to Smoking Regulations in the City of Prairie Village. The Ordinance amends sections 11-402, 11-404 and 11-410 of the Prairie Village Municipal Code. The Ordinance will take effect on August 1, 2008.
The Ordinance prohibits smoking in the following places:
- Enclosed places of employment
- All enclosed public spaces including but not limited to: restaurants, bars, shopping malls, public transportation facilities and vehicles, and indoor entertainment facilities
