Rusty Leffel
Rusty works the streets of the big cities to discover the subjects of his art. As a photographer fascinated by the way people interact with their surroundings, he captures on film moments in the lives of perfect strangers. His works are produced digitally in sepia tones on archival paper, which ads to the everyday feel of his subjects. Just ordinary people, doing ordinary things, but reproduced in such a way, that they are unforgettable. Take a moment to see the world through Rusty's eyes.

Mark Glover
Portrait artist, Mark Glover has a very unique style. While most artists labor over the details, his works speak volumes with just a few simple strokes. His use of shadows and boldly contrasting colors define his subject's expressions and feelings, and sets his works apart from the ordinary. Using acrylics as his medium, his works are a contemporary marvel. Mark was one of thirty-one finalist in the 2007 State of the Arts exhibit. |

Jim and Alex Hamil
After graduating from KU, Jim designed many products for Hallmark and has been a freelance watercolor artsist for 35 years
in the metro area. Alex is a 1992 graduate of KU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Design. However, unlike his father, his choice of media is oil painting. He is currently associated with the Kansas City Art Institute. Join us for a look back at the career of Jim Hamil and a look forward to that of his son, Alex.

Marearl Denning
Capturing nature in all its glory is the inspiration behind the art of Marearl Denning. Best known for her photography, Marearl returns to the R.G. Endres Gallery for her third exhibition. Those familiar with her talents know she also produces works in clay and will have samples of those as well. She was also one of the finalists of the 2007 State of the Arts exhibit.

Steve Karol
Steve has his own philosophy about art. It should express three things: beauty, emotion and an idea. All three of these are evident in the works he produces. His current favorite media of expression is digitally enhanced photography; however, he has also mastered the use of oils, acrylics and watercolors.

Senior Arts Council
Year after year the Senior Arts Council manages to out do itself. This year's show is no exception. Once again this talented group of artists proves that like "fine wine" things only improve with age. Don't miss this exceptional mixture of mediums and talents. |

Venus Auxier
Just as in nature, Venus feels no two of her works are alike. Her unique arrangement of botanical forms is the reason behind this thinking. She currently conducts workshops at Powell Gardens. Don't miss the opportunity to view these distinctive works. |

Images Group
The Images Group consists of approximately forty professional artists from the metropolitan area. Their works include a variety of subjects as well as mediums. With the vast amount of talent included in this exhibit, no doubt there will be something for everyone to see and enjoy. |

State of the Arts
With the tremendous success of last year's show, the gallery will once again pay tribute to local artists in this annual juried exhibition. Artists from all over the metropolitan and surrounding areas are invited to submit three samples of their works. From those, a judge will select three winners of a prize of $500 each. |

MidAmerica Pastel Society
For the last twelve years the MidAmerica Pastel Society has shared its 8" x 10" works with the public. Though small in size, they pack an incredible punch of artistic talent. These mini-wonders illustrate that good things can come in small packages and have over the last dozen years. |

Tom Wilson, Melanie Nolker, Wendy Taylor
Three friends - three different styles - three very talented artists. They say "good luck runs in threes" and this exhibit is a great example of that. The R.G. Endres Gallery is lucky to have such a talented trio willing to share their works with the public during this hectic time of the year. |
The Gallery is located in the Prairie Village Municipal Offices
at 7700 Mission Road and is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Artists interested exhibiting in the Gallery should contact Connie Walsh at 913-381-6464.
