Taliaferro Park is named for former Mayor Monroe "Roe" Taliaferro (1989 - 1999). It was previously called Meadowlake Park.

Taliaferro Park pavilion is available to reserve. It has 4 eight foot tables and 2 grills that are approximately 17" x 14." There is one electrical outlet in the pavilion. There are 9 other tables scattered throughout the park under trees. The park has a large playground, a sandbox, 2 lighted tennis courts, a free-throw basketball goal and shared baseball and grass soccer field. There is a sand volleyball area available and you provide your own net and equipment. There is a walking path and a portable toilet is available year-round.
